Today we share a little insight into one of our favorite details of the day: wedding stationery.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF CUSTOM WEDDING  STATIONERY?

They are just way more personal. Every single detail of the invite is a reflection of your taste and you don’t have to sacrifice one single thing! For some of our brides it is the only optionbecause they can add in some really unique graphics that they can’t find in a pre-made set. Sometimes it would be great to be able to customize the small details!

FORGETTING THE SAVE THE DATE

Inviting guests to join you in Italy to celebrate your wedding? Then you already know your timeline and planning is different than for a traditional wedding. Standard save the date not include more than your wedding date and the venue, or maybe your wedding website. But if guests need their passports there are a few more things you’ll want to tell them in advance. 

Plan on sending them a minimum of six months before the Big Day! This will give your guests time to book flight and hotels, make arrangements at work, and plan an extended trip before or after your wedding in Italy.

Instead of a postcard, consider sending out something more. Maybe a little box to have room for additional information, and treat your save the date as more of a pre-invitation than just a “I’m engaged!”. 

Think about a general timeline for the weekend’s events.  Welcome party, brunch, aperitivo, Pizza dinner or any group activities you’ve planned.

You need to secured a room block at your hotel so guests can figure out which days to take off and reserve their hotel room.

NOT COMPLETING YOUR SUITE

We all know that choosing the right wedding invite is so, so important, but leaving out all of those special extras? 

Reception cards, direction cards, RSVPs or even a map!

Getting your nearest and dearest to the party is the most important piece of the puzzle, you should make sure they have all of the info they need.

Sure, you picked out the world’s most amazing invites, but did you remember all of your day-of stationery, too?  Programs, place cards menus and tableux de marriage is important to coordinate from start to finish for a cohesive and oh-so-chic look. Don’t let it be a detail you overlook if you want to complete a classic and timeless stationery suite!

NOT ORDERING THANK YOU CARDS IN ADVANCE

After all the tears, laught and party you’ll want to sit back, relax with your hubby and dive into all of those Thank You cards to let your guests really know how much you love them. 

It’s best to ordering those Thank You’s at the same time as you order your invites, so there is absolutely no delay in sending your love.
