Wedding Photographer Bruges

We met Elke and Niko in Bruges. We walked through some of the city streets and canals to capture some old architecture and classic buildings! Bruges isn’t called the “Venice of the north” for no reason!Fall was perfectly timed because the trees AND the streets were still full of colorful leaves and that is always our #1 goal for late fall shoots!

Normally shoots in the north Europe raise a few red flags for us. It could be FREEZING!!! It can sometimes be really windy and miserable outside!!! So when Elke told us that they were going to be in Belgium during the fall season, these thoughts did cross my mind. However, we knew that this was the best chance at making this shoot happen, and so we just needed to hope for the best!

Niko and Elke’s love session was our final destination shoot for the season and it was perfection! The weather was beautiful even with some rain drops 🙂 and the light was golden! Not only were the locations and the light beautiful, we quickly realized that these two are incredibly photogenic! I don’t think they even realize how amazing they are in front of the camera.

As soon as we met them, we knew that this was going to be an easy shoot. Elke is a professional model and Niko is a policeman. Their personalities and their smiles make it easy to instantly fall in love with them. We walked through some of the city streets and canals to capture some old architecture and classic buildings! After the shooting we were outside for a dinner and we found that Elke was planning to open her first coffee shop “Albrecht” and for sure we will meet her in front of a deliciuos meal very soon.
